Krystyna Bolesta, beloved wife of Edward, mother to Bozena and Krzysztof, passed away on May 31, 2022. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law Adam, as well  their children Ula and Patrick also his partner Lauran,  Ula’s husband Lukasz and their daughter Helena. Krystyna was a beautiful soul and a strong woman. Having come to Canada from Poland over 30 years ago, she helped her daughter and son in-law raise their children, becoming a second mother to them. From cooking, to baking and knitting, she was a talented woman who had so much to offer those who encountered her. With many friends here and abroad you would often find her on the phone chatting away with those dear to her. In her 80’s Krystyna survived an amputation to her leg and continued to fight hard, walking up and down stairs and happily engaging with those around her. As she neared the end of her life, she began to find peace with death, readying her soul for this transition. Her light and strength will live on in the memories of those who were blessed to know her.
