Lora Lynn Foret, age 42, died (passed into a new stage of life) at 2:15 am on May 20, 2019 in  Calgary after a hard fought battle with Cancer

Lora was born on March 14, 1977 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, where she made a life before settling in Calgary. She is survived by her life long love Robert Kelly Burke, her 3 children, Destiny Assoun, Machaus Foret-Burke and Alexa Foret-Burke, her mother Judy Hartry, father Gilber MacIntyre, grandmother (Nanny) Lucy Ramey, brothers David Foret and Shane MacIntyre, her sisters Rebecca MacIntyre, Elise MacIntyre, her neices and nephews, Samantha Myles, Ethan Foret, Hank Foret.
Lora loved spending time with family and friends and during her short walk touched many hearts that followed her to the end of her path.

A Celebration of Lora’s life will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Country Hills Crematorium – 11995-16 Street, NE, Calgary at 3:00 pm.

    My deepest condolences to everyone suffering the loss of this amazing woman, I met Lora in Elementary and we went our separate ways reuniting in High school. Lora was an amazing friend who touched the lives of many and affected us all her fight, strength and courage is admired by everyone who knows her and she will be missed but always remembered.     LoRA you will alway be my ? that burns with in, you have showed me so much through out our path and was a true believer too never give up . You have always found away to let me know you were alway beside me even through my darkest times. I know you will to continue too watch and guide each and every person who truly loved you, I know how tight you loved family to be and with that being said we will keep that in deed, as I lay in our bed and steer of into the night I can only think of your hardest fight my eyes grow heavy as the nights are long you will live in my heart forever STRONG!

    Our sincere condolences on the loss of such a special lady. We first me Lora through the DFIC and her friendly personality and infectious smile will remain with us forever. We have so many text messages between us and without hesitation the only concern Lora had was for the love of her family. We will miss you my friend. May you rest in peace. (Dr. Phil)
