Lynn was born in Edmonton and lived the last 45 years of her life in Calgary. Most of her working life was in banking. She loved spending time with her family and her pets, most notably Buster.
Mom was a strong, caring, compassionate woman that was able to make friends anywhere. Her kindness and wonderful sense of humor would draw people towards her, regardless of their age. Of all the blessings that mom had in her life, nothing brought her more joy than her family and the friends she considered family. Her face would absolutely light up when she talked about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her family unconditionally. It is this special love that she shared with us that will be her legacy.

So sorry for your loss McDonnell family. She was a rare diamond. One of the loveliest women I’ve ever known. Thinking of and sending love to you all. 💖🕊️
So sorry for your loss. Lynn was a strong woman and a very good friend to me . I will miss our long telephone conversations. Just two old ladies that couldn’t get out talking for hours.
