Aneik Gandhi, born on August 24, 1983, in New Delhi, India, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta. He was a cherished husband to his devoted wife Kuljit Gandhi and a loving son to Anil and Suman Gandhi. Aneik shared a special bond with his brother Saiyam Gandhi.

Aneik’s journey began in Hamilton, Ontario, but it was in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he found not only his calling but also his life partner. In 2009, he and Kuljit were married, embarking on a journey of love and companionship, creating countless memories together. Their recent move to Calgary in 2021 marked the start of a new chapter, filled with dreams of a future together, including welcoming a new puppy named Meri into their home.

Aneik’s zest for life was infectious. He had a passion for cooking, delighting in preparing sumptuous dishes like Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, and kebabs, bringing joy to those around him with each flavourful creation. He found solace in the warmth of a good glass of whiskey, sharing laughter and stories with friends and family late into the night.

His vibrant spirit and generous nature touched the lives of everyone he met. Aneik had a knack for humor, always ready with a joke or a witty remark to lift the spirits of those around him. His kindness knew no bounds, and he was ever willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

In his leisure time, Aneik enjoyed the simple pleasures of life – barbecuing in the backyard, savouring the crisp autumn air by the fire pit, and spending quality time with his beloved dog companion, Pippin. He was an avid sports fan, cheering passionately for NASCAR, the Toronto Raptors, and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Aneik Gandhi will be fondly remembered for his vibrant personality, his unwavering love for his family, and his genuine kindness towards others. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
