It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chaman Puri, who left us peacefully on August 18th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at his home. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness and warmth.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Krishna Puri, and his three children: Neeraj Khurana, Ashwani Puri, and Sahil Puri. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Tejinder Khurana, and daughters-in-law, Neeru Puri and Anita Puri, as well as his seven wonderful grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
Chaman Puri was born on August 14, 1949, in Guruhar Sahai and spent the majority of his life in Moga, Punjab. He successfully owned and operated a fruit business in Moga, where he was respected for his dedication and strong work ethic. In December 2001, he embarked on a new journey, relocating to Calgary, Canada, to create a new life for himself and his family. His commitment to his loved ones and his passion for life continued to thrive in his new home, where he built lasting memories and strong relationships.
Chaman Puri will be remembered as a pillar of strength and a hardworking man who dedicated himself to his family and community. His passion for photography and gardening brought beauty to the world, and his love for being surrounded by friends and family was evident to all who knew him.
His generosity, kindness, and love for life will forever be etched in the hearts of those he touched. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and resilience will continue to live on in those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Chaman Puri will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. His memory will forever live on in our hearts, and we will continue to cherish the time we had with him. We hope he finds eternal peace, and we send him our love always.
