It is with great sadness that the family of Corwyn John Stokoe announce his passing on October 27 at the age of 51 years.
Cory was born in Brandon, MB to John and Audrey Stokoe and grew up in North Delta, BC and Didsbury, AB. His passion through much of his life was hockey, a sport that he enjoyed playing for 30 years. He played in many leagues as a youth and continued to play whenever he could as an adult.
Cory married Kris in 1996 and they settled in Lloydminster, AB. Cory was an accomplished welder and earned his Journeyman ticket and Red Seal. He enjoyed welding and found the work both satisfying and rewarding until a brain tumor made the work difficult.
Cory passed away peacefully and is survived by his wife Kris, parents John and Audrey, siblings Melvin (Neena) and Candice (Brad), and many nephews and nieces.
