Dwight Edward Knox
April 3, 1951 – July 9, 2023

Dwight Knox passed away at home on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the age of 72 years.

Dwight was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario and was the eldest of nine siblings. Dwight received his plumbing certificate from St. Lawrence College and move to Calgary, Alberta, in 1976 where he has resided ever since. He was an avid reader and was a Cub leader for three years. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

In his later years, everyone in the neighbourhood knew Dwight and his dog, Wolf, as they always found someone to stop and talk with, on their daily walks.

Dwight will be sadly missed by his wife Carrol, daughter Julie (Jim), granddaughter Kerisa, great-granddaughter Kassidy, stepsons Tim and D’Arcy, brother Bob, sister Yvonne, Cheryl, Ceceil, Denise, and Darlene, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dwight was predeceased by his mother Mary–Ellen, and brothers Doug and Dennis.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
