Ernest (Ernie) Dutchak

Ernest (Ernie) Dutchak lost his battle with cancer on April 24, 2023 at the age of 80 years. Ernie has lived in Calgary since 1974 and loved this city. He sold real estate with CIR realtors for many years. Ernie loved playing his violin and was part of the Centre Street Church orchestra. He was a fun loving guy and followed Jesus. Ernie was hard working and loved his family more than anything.

He is survived by his loving wife Ruth, his son Grant (Lisa); grandchildren Austin, Dalyce and Drayper, and his daughter Christy (Mike). Ernie is also survived by his two sisters Betty Arnason (Bruce) and Debbie Levreault and their children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Rose Dutchak of Gimli, Manitoba. He will be missed by those who knew him and his fun ways. Rest in peace.

Funeral Services will be held at Centre Street Church (900 2 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E 9C1) on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
