It is with great sadness that the family of Frank Marcinowski of Calgary, AB, announce his passing on Saturday March 18, 2023 at the age of 85 years.
Frank being a young husband and father worked tirelessly on raising and caring for his family. Took pleasure in well earned vacation time spent with family and friends at Rosen Lake B.C. In younger years participated in bowling, fastball and cheering on favored NHL, CFL teams had a passion for watching all broadcasted sports. Card games amongst willing opponents were always an enjoyment!
Frank was a long-standing dedicated Kinsman (K40) member alongside wife Myrna relished many years of camaraderie which led to marvelous adventures around the world and lifelong friends.
Advancement of Technology he soon discovered online games, poker, blackjack and solitaire became his preference with no lack of adversaries all of course free of charge, but not always freedom of speech (lol)! When health issues, aging took over he indulged in the pleasure of this entertainment.
Frank will be remembered as larger than life, compassionate, fun-loving, boisterous gentleman who with unselfish devotion was always there for family and friends.
Greatest comfort was to be surrounded by family and friends who he loved unconditionally. Quote he carried with him.

Frank is survived by his wife of 68 years Myrna Marcinowski ,son David(Carol)Marcinowski, daughter Beverly(Jack)Hourie and sister Wanda(Neil)Thomas.
Grandchildren Kelly(Clint)Kennedy, Lisa(Jesse)Moerike, Amanda(Charles Evans)Marcinowski.
Wayne Hourie, Jessica(Long)Lam, Tyler Hourie, Ryan(Robyn)Townson, Jennifer Townson, Krista Townson.
Great Grandchildren Cody Andrews, Eve Andrews and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his Cherished and Beloved Daughter Sharee (Fred) Townson.
Parents Ignacy “John” and Katrazyna Marcinowski .Sisters Emelia “Millie” Lamont, Mary Marcinowski, and Marilyn McCauley Sister and Brother-in-laws Bernard “Bernie”(Edie)Marcinowski, Michael “Mike” (Anita)Marcinowski, John(Eunice)Marcinowski and 2 Nieces and 1 Nephew
Franks wishes no funeral service. Family will gather privately.
In lieu of flowers, Frank requests you gather with family and friends to drink a glass of your favorite and remember him fondly.
P.S. (Bols Apricot Brandy) was one of his favorites!

RIP Uncle Frank! I have great memories of the many times he was MC (master of ceremonies) for many family functions. 🥰
Frank was a loved & respected member of the Stampede City Kinsmen Club. It is very sad to hear he has passed away but will forever be remembered by his many friends and kin brotherhood. Our sincere condolences to Myrna and family. He is greatly missed and will be appropriately toasted at our next Kin alumni gathering. RIP.
