Gavin James Phasiri of Calgary passed away on October 29th, 2023 at the age of 21 years.

Gavin’s passion for cars began working alongside his uncle Kevin at Nissan as a lot attendant and later a first apprentice. He was a driven young man determined to be successful in this lifetime. He was a lover of basketball (evident in his shoe collection), cars, friends and family. Gavin was always smiling, he had the brightest smile that would light up any room, known to be the music of the party, he was always ready to crack a joke and take a joke. He was always respectful of others, empathetic and constantly made sure that no one felt left out. Gavin was beyond his years, always able and eager to help out anyone that needed it. He especially loved his mom and family. Gavin had a heart of gold and would always take care and look after the ones he loves. He was incredibly strong and resilient and was a fighter to the very end.

Gavin will be dearly missed by his mother Villy, grandmothers Viengxay and Thuychau, grandfather Oune, his aunties Lynda and Jennifer, uncles Kham, Kevin and Randy, brother Phoenix. He will also be missed by his beloved cousins Jayden, Mia, Theo and Owen and many more extended family and friends.

He was a brother to many, a beloved nephew, a loving grandson and beautiful selfless son. He will forever remain in our hearts. We love you our Gav, forever and always.
