It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon (Gord) Francis MacLeod of Calgary, Alberta (formerly from PEI) announce his sudden passing on December 27th, 2023 at the age of 66 at the Foothills Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Born in Charlottetown, PEI on February 19, 1957, Gord was the beloved husband of Beverley MacLeod (nee Burke), loving father of Daniel (Dan); (Leslie) and very proud Grampie of Cameron and London, brother of Terry (Ellen) of Winnipeg, brother-in-law of Kathy (Harvey), Paula (Dennis) of PEI and Gary (Jeannie) of Calgary, Julie Thompson of  Victoria and special uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Gord was predeceased by his father, Daniel Malcolm, his mother Martha Grace and brother Derek, father-in-law (Francis), mother-in law (Roma), brother-in-law Kevin and sisters-in-law Dawna and Gail.

Gord had a passion and knowledge for gardening, photography and astronomy in which he loved to share with his loved ones. He will forever be missed, however his memory will live on for his family through these hobbies he enjoyed so dearly. 

Per Gord’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
