February 11, 1972 – December 2, 2022

Junior Macoy passed away suddenly on December 2nd, 2022 at the age of 50 years old. 

Junior was a beloved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Junior was born on February 11th, 1972 to Herson and Felicinta Macoy in Manila, Philippines. Herson and Felicinta wanted nothing but the best for their children and made the long journey across the world to immigrate to Canada in the summer of 1976. After Junior graduated from High School he went on to complete his tickets to become a Journeyman Parts Technician, kick starting his very successful career in the automotive industry for over 30 years. 

Anyone who knew Junior knew him best for his ability to make people smile and laugh with his incredible sense of humor and big warm heart. 

Junior loved spending time with his children and family, especially in the outdoors and being active. He loved to hike, bike, rock climb, camp and of course, play the great game of Hockey. 

Junior is survived by his children, Evan Macoy, Lily Macoy, and Cohen Shaw. His Father, Herson Macoy, his Mother, Felicinta Macoy, his Brother Marvyn Macoy, his sister Theresa Veno(Rick Veno), Marilyn Smith(Matthew Smith). Junior is survived by his Nephews and Nieces Bradley Macoy(Courtney Macoy), Taylor Cottenie(Nathan Cottenie), Alex Veno(Jon Strate), Lexxes Braun, Tiernan Braun, Brynne Macoy, Benjamin Smith and Emmersyn Smith. Junior is predeceased by his beloved Boxer, JD.
