It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin
John Holford, 66 years of age on September 25, 2023 at Dulcina
Hospice, Calgary after battling cancer for 3 ½ years.
Kevin was born in Bickershaw, Wigan, Great Britain on
December 24, 1956. He attended Morecambe Grammar School
and Morecambe and Lancaster College of Further Education
where he studied to become a Carpenter. Kevin worked for
Harbour General, Taylor Woodrow, Volker Stevin and Birse
Construction before moving to Calgary, Canada in 2006 where
he was employed by Stuart Olson Construction Ltd until his
retirement in 2016.
Kevin had many pastimes including playing Darts (in a league in
the UK), Coarse Fishing and Clay Pigeon Shooting.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and is
survived by wife (Linda), his daughter Sarah and son in law
Richard, his daughter Alison and son in law Jason, his three
grandchildren, and in the UK, his mother Brenda and his
brother Ian.
He will always be remembered and forever loved by his family,
friends and work colleagues both in Canada and the UK.
