It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Prasad of Chestermere, AB, announce his unexpected passing on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the age of 30 years. Kevin was an outstanding and multi-talented musician/artist, a superb young sportsman, and a passionate soccer superstar.
He was born on May 24, 1992, to Mr. Rup Sen Prasad & Mrs. Prem Lata Prasad, and was the loving older brother of Kavita Prasad. He graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Management with a Major in Supply Chain Management and a Minor in Energy, Oil and Gas. Kevin had a passion for traveling, deep sea diving, fishing, soccer, music, and
caring for people. He enjoyed helping others and spent a part of his life in service as an Infantry Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces.
Wherever Kevin went, he brought joy, warmth, and love to those around him. He was truly a delightful, generous, easygoing, fun-loving, humble young man and a role model to all.
The world is a lesser place without him.
Kevin is survived by his parents Mr. Rup Sen Prasad & Mrs.Prem Lata Prasad; sister Kavita Prasad; Grandfather Mr. Durga Prasad of Rarawai, Ba, Fiji Islands, as wellas numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many great friends.
We love and miss you Kevin, you will be cherished in our hearts forever.

Kevin was like my son. Being one of the oldest boy in the group of parent he was very admirable. Life and death is not our decision and the lord has its plan. Someday you might be back to the family and bring the joy back. My lord krishna guide you through. Harriomm
News of your son’s passing has shocked our entire family. Our condolences to you and your entire family during this challenging time. Your son’s passing is heartbreaking because he was just so bright and healthy. He was everybody’s hero, and everybody looked up to him because he was just so friendly and caring to everyone.
