It is with great sadness that the family of Kirpal Singh Parhar of Calgary, Alberta announces his passing on 17, April 2024 at the age of 49 years. Kirpal Singh Parhar was born in Lutera Khurd on Sept.24 1974. Kirpal Singh Parhar immigrated from India to Canada in 1993. He graduated from Government High School
Kalra. He also attended SBDSM Khalsa College. He was a proud member of the Sikh community. His favourite thing to do was listen and play music for his family. His favourite song was Has De Rehndi Ah by Hustinder and was often heard quoting it. Kirpal’s favourite vacation was the time when he went to his homeland – Lutera Khurd, India.
Survived by: Kirpal Singh Parhar is survived by wife (Rajnish Kaur Parhar): by his one son, Gurshaan Singh Parhar in Calgary, Alberta. Kirpal Parhar is also survived by his mother and father, Gurbachan Singh Parhar and Harminder Kaur Parhar; his six sisters, Harjit Kaur Bhatti, Paramjit Kaur Minhas, Gursharanjit Kaur Saroya, Narinder Kaur Parmar, Sukhjit Kaur Chohan, Kiran Kaur Parmar from Calgary, Alberta. As well as his 26 neice and nephews (Aman, Iqbal, Simran, Gurleen, Rasan, Harman, Baljot, Muskaan, Balpreet, Harkirat, Iqjot, Bikram, Gurman, Harjot, Karan, Amanat, Jorawar) and (Yashdeep, Rajdeep, Kavaldeep, Prabhdeep, Anantdeep, Tarndeep, Manjot, Amitoj and Harmeen.

I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear of Kirpal’s passing. I had the absolute pleasure of knowing him for the last 26 years. He always had a smile on his face and was full of laughter. I feel thankful and blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know him and his family. I wish all of you, peace and comfort in your memories of Kirpal.
