It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Neufeld of Airdrie, AB announce his passing on May 31, 2023 at the age of 73 years.
Larry was born in Winkler, MB on September 14, 1949. Throughout the years he drove truck for Palliser Furniture, Heritage Mushrooms, and Bison Transport. Larry retired in the year 2010.
He enjoyed nature and the outdoors, spending time with family, spoiling his daughters and pets, cooking, collecting small model cars, watching concerts, movies, and sports. His favourite band was Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) and often played them on family road trips. Larry’s favourite vacations were the three times he visited Hawaii, his trip to the Philippines with his wife and eldest daughter, and his trip to California with his wife, eldest, and youngest daughter.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Daisy Neufeld; they have celebrated 32 and a half years of marriage together. He is also survived by his two daughters, Jalessa Dailar Neufeld and Jenilou Jasmine Neufeld from Airdrie, AB.
Larry is also survived by his mother Margaret Rempel from Winkler, MB; and two brothers Ken Neufeld also from Winkler,MB and Loren Neufeld from Winnipeg, MB.
Relatives and friends are invited to Larry’s Celebration of Life at Country Hills Crematorium and Funeral Services (11995 16th Street NE, Calgary, AB, T3K 0S9) on June 24, 2023 at 3:00 PM.
Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Larry Neufeld’s service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. My condolences to Larry s family it was a great shock to hear about his passing
Anita and I want to pass on our sincere condolences to you Daisy and daughters. Always appreciated his quick smile and easy conversation when we met. Our prayers are with you all!
Our sincere condolences to you. Daisy, and the girls on the passing of Larry. We appreciated his caring personality. It was amazing how Larry and his twin brother Len, had so many things in common. and now both passing away so suddenly. Prayers as you go through this time of grieving and as you. Daisy, recover from your accident.
