It is with great sadness that the family of Louis Steve Sabados of Airdrie Alberta announce his passing on January  16th, 2024 at the age of 89 years old.

Louis Steve Sabados (Lou) was born in Calgary Alberta on January 26, 1934. He worked at Shell Canada Ltd as Steam Engineer/Plant Operator from 1970 until he retired on April 1, 1996. He also owned Lou’s Waterwell Drilling Ltd. Drilling wells, Septic Tanks and Field Installations, Pump Sales and Services since 1971. His favorite things to do was repairing and working on his Drilling Rigs and trucks. Lou enjoyed watching hockey and he was once a Ticket Hockey Holder. His favorite phrase is “Brain dead “and his favourite song was “You are my Sunshine.” His favourite vacation was the time when we went for our honeymoon in Las Vegas, and thereafter we would go there every anniversary. Lou is loved by everyone who knows him.

Louis Steve is survived by his wife Lolita Siloran Sabados of Airdrie, Alberta, his youngest brother, Joe Sabados of Calgary, his daughter Cindy Hanner of Calgary, Alberta, his son Cameron Sabados of Vernon British Columbia, his Step- daughter Sherillyn Pacis of Airdrie, Alberta and his  Step-son, Bryan James Guillermo of Calgary Alberta. Six grandchildren: Kylie Hanner, Paul Hanner of Calgary,Alberta; Shekinah, Sheanny-Grace, Michaela Pacis of Airdrie, Alberta and Bryan James Guillermo Jr. of Calgary and 3 great-grandchildren

He is predeceased by his parents: Michael and Helen Sabados; and his three brothers; four sisters.
