The Road To Eternity

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be.
A resting Place along the road,
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant
To learn some things,
But never meant to stay…
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know,
For some the journey’s quicker
For some, the journeys slow.
But when the journey
finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the Lord.

Native American Prayer

I give you this one thought to keep – I am with you still – I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone – I am with you still – in each new dawn.
