September 24, 1948 – Fernie, B.C
July 13, 2023 – Calgary, Alberta
Bob grew up in Lake Louise and Banff, Alberta. He had the patience and persistence to excel at the finer activities of life. He was always an artist in many medias and of some renoun, plus a carpenter up to finish grade. Also in Calgary, he came to enjoy a wholly fulfilling picture framing business relationship with Wallace Galleries.
Time then allowed him the peace and joy of fly fishing and fishing. He had just the right amount of insecurities to make him the warm and accommodating Canadian he was.
Bob was blessed to have passed peacefully in his home with his notable story to back him. He will be sorely missed.
Bob will be survived by his mother Betty Joan, his brothers Ross Ernest and Philip Evan, his niece Stephanie, and his nephew Jonathan. Dear friends, Heidi, Colette, Mike, Sheldon, Bill and George. And his beloved cat MOUW.
Bob was predeceased by his father Morley Edward (Jack) and his Sister in Law Glenna Rae.

this is so very out of time…. Bob and I were friends many years ago, indeed we ski patrolled together and I have a small drawing that he gave me for my 60th birthday. A friend told me a few days ago that Bob had died – we were raising his work as an artist. Curiously, I spite of our life long friendship. I did not know that she knew Bob – and I was really sad to hear that news.
I went a few minutes today, looking at my little drawing, and thinking abut Bob- whom I always considered a fine human.
Kindest regards.
Bob framed many pieces of art for me when he was working out of Wallace Galleries and he did such a fine job. A lovely man, always willing to go the extra mile to make it perfect. I’m so sorry to hear about his passing. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
