April 4, 1961 – September 30, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roop Singh Brar, on September 30, 2022 at the age of 61. Roop was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. 

He was born in Himmatpura, India in 1961 and moved to Canada with his wife in 1984.

Roop enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and going for long drives to the mountains. He was a car enthusiast and an avid firearm collector. Roop was a gentle man who loved his children and grandchildren dearly. His contagious smile and positive energy won the hearts of many. The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and individuals who helped Roop throughout his courageous battle.

Roop is survived by his loving wife Inderjit, his children Jaspreet (Amritpaul), Harpreet (Brendan), Sukhjit and Roopinder, his grandchildren Avaya and Savera, his sister Bhupinder and brother Jagsir.

Roop was predeceased by his parents Waryam Singh and Surjit Kaur Brar.
