It is with overwhelming sadness that the family of Sheldon Eugene Scott announce his passing on Tuesday January 23 rd, 2024 in Calgary, AB, after a valiant battle with cancer at the age of 62 years.
Sheldon was a loving soul with a big heart. He was a fun-loving father and did what he could for his children. He was a doting grandfather and a great friend to so many in all stages of his life. He was a lover of fishing, hunting, taking a ride on the bike or a drive with good friends, cracking jokes and making you believe something was true when it really wasn’t, and sit back and laugh.
Sheldon was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. He moved to Calgary in 2010, this is where he lived his remaining years with a supportive and loving community of friends/family.
He leaves to mourn, daughter Sheena Bessent (Bobby Bessent), son Nicholas Scott (Anne Mae Scott). Grandchildren, Michael, Brooklyn, Everlee & Bria. Sister, Brenda Johnson (Doug), Nephews Rick Norton, Billy Jo & Chris Bell, (Calgary family) brother Rex Balon (Rhia Balon), Allain, Siegfried and Dwayne Balon, Fiancee Marige Babad and many beloved friends.
Predeceased by Father Sheldon Scott Sr., Claire Bell, and Stepfather Edmund Bell. Sisters, Sharon & Sherry, Brothers Darren and Dale and Granddaughter Payton.
Sleep well Dad, Sheldon, Brother. We will always carry the Memory of you in Our Hearts.
