Brenda was born in Edmonton, Alberta to Georgena and Albert Lampert on November 23, 1957. During nursing school in Calgary, she met the love of her life Joseph (Don) Haley. They were married for 45years and together created a life full of love and laughter for themselves and their three children. Brenda’s children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Brenda was an avid gardener and had extensive knowledge of flowers. She would often be found in the back yard tending to her flowers and enjoying her beautiful oasis. She also loved to crochet, cross-stichand paint ceramics. Brenda loved nature and camping. Don and Brenda would take trips to Red Lodge and Waiparous campground. Brenda also loved to travel. Some of her fondest memories were trips taken to Cuba and Jamacia with her family.

An Angel

An angel lived among us,
a gift from God above.
She showered us with kindness,
and shared with us her love.
She cherished every moment,
with her family who was her life.
Walking hand and hand together,
facing life with all its strife.
She loved her children dearly,
each one a different way.
Nestled close within her heart.

Though, now, she’s far away.
She’s gone to live with Jesus.
But she’s here with us, today.
Smiling down on every one of us,
And telling us she’s O.K.
