It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gabriela Nedescu on January 28, 2024, at the age of 70. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed away peacefully in her sleep.

She was a devoted and loving mother who always put her family first, and cherished her three grandchildren.

Gabriela had a passion for travel and nature. She visited many countries and enjoyed experiencing different cultures and cuisines. She loved the mountains and believed in the saying “The Mountains Shall Bring Peace To The People”. She had a beautiful smile and a radiant personality that lit up any room. She enjoyed being around and caring for young children and enjoyed her work with them and her colleagues. She was always kind and generous and strived to maintain an optimistic attitude in any situation. She will continue to be a source of inspiration to many people.

Gabriela will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. She is survived by her children (Bogdan and Mihai), daughter-in-laws (Ancuta and Niusha), father of her children (Doru), her grandchildren (Aiden, Austin, Ashton), niece (Liana), and nephew (Octav). She is predeceased by her mother and father (Safta and Gheorghe), and her son Cristian Alexandru who left this world too early, at the age of 4, leaving a permanent scar in her heart until the day of her passing when they were rejoined in heaven.
