It is with great sadness that the family of Karen of Calgary, AB announce her passing after her courageous battle with cancer on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 72 years. She worked as a customs officer for many years. Karen loved making stained glass, painting, reading, driving her 27ft motorhome, and visiting her two lake cabins over the years.. She was a fun loving, caring woman who will be missed by many.

Karen is survived by loving spouse of 36 years, Carol Gloyn; siblings Lana, Robert, and Dennis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Karen was predeceased her parents, Alan and Marie Durward. A Celebration of Life will be held in Calgary in early spring. .
