On December 3, 2023, the matriarch of our family, Prakash Vati Anand, passed away peacefully at the age of 97.
She was born in Kenya, later moved to India, and eventually settled in Calgary, Canada in 1989, leaving a lasting impression everywhere she went. As the eldest of eleven siblings, she has always taken on the role of caring for others and being a role model for those around her.
Her legacy will be carried on by her five children, three daughter-in-laws, one son-in-law, five grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law, two grandson-in-laws, and six great grandchildren.
Her generous, kind, loving soul, and beautiful smile will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
