It is with the utmost sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of Tarsem Kaur Jaswal. Tarsem, born in the village of Daroli, Punjab, India, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 years on May 25, 2023 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Tarsem was the eldest child in a large family and married in 1963.  She moved to England in the 1967 and then to Canada in 1980 with her family.
Tarsem was a loyal and dedicated wife that stayed by her husband’s side through all their glory and pain to build their legacy with her family always in mind.  She was a loving, supportive and selfless soul always putting the well-being of her family and others before herself.  She nurtured and raised her kids loving them unconditionally and giving them wings to fly and supported any path they chose to pursue in life.
Tarsem had a passion for cooking, entertaining, gardening, music, and family.  She has left a void in our lives that can never be filled.  Her unconditional love, guidance and unwavering support were a constant source of strength and inspiration for our family.  We will forever cherish the memories we shared and carry her legacy forward.
Tarsem is predeceased by her father Surain Singh Manhas; mother Piar Kaur Manhas and sister Rajvinder Manhas.
She is survived by her husband Harbhajan (Harry) Jaswal; sons Pritam (wife: Rajdeep Jaswal), Satnam Jaswal and Jatinder Jaswal; daughters Tirath Garrett and Jasbir Davies; Grandsons Ajvinder Jaswal and Maximus Jaswal; Granddaughters Palvir Jaswal, Abhijot Jaswal, Preet Garrett, Amarjeet Garrett and Angela Davies;
Great Grandchildren Konin Benson and Ried Garrett. Siblings: Gurmit (wife: Kulwinder) Manhas. Balbir (husband: Manjit) Jaswal, Manjit (wife: Raminder) Manhas, Santosh-Mary (husband: Dave) Rush, Manjit-Susan Yadev, Mike Manhas; and many nieces and nephews.
