With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Subedar Mukhtiar Singh Sran on December 19, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family and in peace. Mukhtiar was a devoted Sikh, a cherished husband, a loving father, and a guiding light to all who knew him.

Mukhtiar is survived by his wife, Daljit Kaur Sran, who was his partner in life and love. Together, they built a strong and nurturing family, raising five children who continue to carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his later years.

Known for his wisdom, humility, and unwavering faith, Mukhtiar was an active and respected member of the Sikh community. He found solace and strength in seva (selfless service) and remained deeply connected to his roots, always imparting lessons of unity, compassion, and resilience to those around him.

Mukhtiar’s life was a testament to the values he held dear: love, service, and faith. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched.
Funeral services will be held at Country Hills Crematorium, on Dec 22nd, 2024 at 10 AM followed by a prayer service at Dashmesh Culture Centre.
