Our dearest Raj, a goofy, compassionate, hard working, food enthusiast has unexpectedly passed away, on the evening of September 20th, 2019. He was born in Edmonton, but grew up in the beautiful town of Golden, where he spent his last few months of life. We welcome you to join us for his final ceremony, October 5th at 10:30am at the Country Hill Crematorium & Funeral Service (11195- 16 Street NE, Calgary), followed by the completion of Antim Ardas at Dashmesh Culture Centre (135 Martindale Blvd NE, Calgary).

Soomal Family – I am sorry for your loss.
I had the privilege of working with Raj on a few job sites.
His upbeat mood and brilliant smile helped me make it through the days.
I will miss Raj forever.
I first met Raj recently when he worked at his Mother’s Best Western Motel in Golden, BC. When he finished working there he worked for me and we became good friends. I will always remember Raj as a person who cared for others and enjoyed life. We will surely miss him. God Bless!

Sorry for everything that happened which is unbelievable and unexpected. I never thought he would leave us so early this life. The time i spent with him was just awesome. I will miss him so much as he was like a elder brother to me.
