Sardarni Mukand Kaur Brar, born on May 10, 1943, in Punjab, India, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, in Calgary, Alberta.

She was a woman of strength, grace, and unwavering determination. Carrying her deep-rooted traditions with pride, she brought her values of hard work and resilience across oceans, building a life filled with love, family, and purpose.

A devoted wife to Mohinder Singh Brar, she was a proud and loving mother to six children: Parmjeet Kaur Sidhu (Punjab), Karmjeet Kaur Sidhu (Vancouver), the late Amarjeet Kaur Brar, Amarjeet Kaur Sidhu (Punjab), the late Iqbal Singh Brar, and Sukhpal Kaur Sidhu (California).

She was the light in the lives of all who knew her—a guiding presence, a source of comfort, and a symbol of unconditional love. Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Her strength, kindness, and wisdom will live on in the hearts of her family and everyone she touched. She will be deeply missed, and her memories will forever be treasured.
